FHE 2014

So I haven't blogged in forever and don't admit that I may again anytime soon with a new baby on the way. ;) I've planned out my Family Home Evenings for the year though (which I have NEVER done) and have some friends asking about it. I'm nesting I suppose. I thought this might be a good venue for it. I don't claim to have the lessons all planned out, just the topics/themes for each week, which is my greatest struggle. There are enough other, better-organized mommies out there with lessons already planned that will fill our needs for each topic. I give thanks to them and will post links to their lessons if/when used. 

In my planning, I used 10 already pre-prepared lessons, that my kind mother-in-law gave us a few years ago when our children were quite little, based on President Gordon B. Hinckley's Standing for Something book . I also incorporated one "Open Activity" a month, holidays, seasons and some October 2014 General Conference that I think I will carry over into 2015.
